As the body of Christ, we work best as each individual member does their part to strengthen themselves in their walk with the Lord. Along with prayer, Scripture reading is an absolute necessity for your spiritual growth.
Each of the plans below can assist you in reading through the entire Bible in one year (an admirable goal). Please join along with your brothers and sisters in Christ at Stanchfield by picking out a plan from below and engaging with God's Word faithfully through 2022
CHRONOLOGICAL
This reading plan takes you through the entire Bible in one year. It guides you through chronologically from Creation to John's Revelation so that you can read Scripture in the order in which the events unfolded in history.
BOOK-AT-A-TIME
This reading plan takes you through the entire Bible in one year. It's readings focus on going through each book of the Bible in total before moving onto the next book. It alternates between Old and New Testament to give you variety. It also includes a daily reading from the wisdom literature (Psalm/Proverbs). An additional benefit to this reading plan is that it operates from a 25-day-a-month mindset which allows a little bit of grace in case you miss a day or two.
BOOKMARKS
This is a great plan for those of us who have a difficult time keeping track of our reading list. This reading plan comes in the form of four bookmarks. Simply print the PDF double-sided (flipping on the short edge). Then cut out the four book-marks which go directly into your Bible. Each day you will read one reading from each book mark providing you with good variety and taking you through the entire Bible in one year.
THEMATIC
This reading plan takes you through the entire Bible in one year based on themes as they appear in the Old Testament. Each day there is a reading from the Old Testament that goes in order from Genesis through the Prophets. Along with each daily reading from the Old Testament there are appropriate readings from the New Testament and Wisdom Literature that fit to make each day a thematic study.
WEEKLY
This fun plan can fit and print on one side of a standard 8.5X11'' sheet of paper which makes it perfect for tucking in your Bible case, or hanging on your fridge. Each day will take you through a different genre of Scripture than the day before (Epistles, History, Psalms, Poetry, Law, Prophecy, and Gospels). It will guide you through the entire Bible in a year.
